The ILLMH-250DMX illuminator is cased in alluminium enclosure producing 5,500lm from the 250 watt metal halide lamp. Light shines through the colour wheel of 8 colours controllable via the wireless remote.
Ideal for end point point illumination for downlighting and uplighting applications or strip lighting used in cove lighting and chandeliers. Fibre optic illuminators create colour changing lighting without having to connect power cables or RGB LEDs to each fitting. Light intensity at the fitting can be increased by using larger diameter fibre cores or multi-core fibre cables. This enables more applications over conventional and LED lighting due to its transmission of cold light, especially in wet area environments.
Maintenance benefits are increased as there is no globe or LED to replace in the fibre optic fittings nor in the side-emitting fibre cable. The illuminator is stored in a convenient and accessible location for any servicing or repairs that need to be carried out.
Running costs benefit having a single point of light source with light distribution over many points through non-powered fibre cables. Up to 600, 1mm fibre cores can be lit up from one illuminator providing more points of light without needing to connect power to each fitting.
